EHR
Our EHR product is a modern EHR that layers rich clinical data storage capabilities on top of traditional robust relational databases.
The Iaso EHR uses the principle of maximal data modelling as represented by the openEHR 1.0.1 reference model and corresponding archetypes (ADL 1.4). It couples this with a unique plug-in architecture that allows patient data to be analysed over time in order to create useful views of patient data. The aim of the Iaso EHR architecture is to allow the health IT community to develop and install modules into the EHR system that supports local data recording concepts (modelled as archetypes) and provides interpretations of archetyped data (modelled as views).
The Iaso EHR comes with a large number of built in modules to support a variety of base EHR functionality. The Iaso EHR architecture is inherently suitable for modern parallel computation because it stores data structured on a patient centric basis. This means that increasing numbers of CPU cores, processors or servers can achieve almost linear scaling in terms of concurrent system users. The Iaso EHR is built from the ground up to support a modern web services approach. The use of custom view generators allows both thin and thick client applications to take advantage of the Iaso EHR engine.
